Bradford Law Office - Community Involvement

Classroom volunteer

What a blast.  This really helps me remain balanced and take a break from practicing law.  What a fresh perspective and wonderful opportunity to help me remember that despite the difficulties of divorce and growing old, life is a beautiful circle of innocence and an innate quest for understanding.

Volunteer Family Law Legal Clinic – Matheson Court House

Family Law Legal Clinic – free advice to public with independent consultations on any and all issues of family and domestic law including name changes, termination of parental rights, divorce, divorce modifications, child support, time share, property and asset divisions, adoptions, custody, etc.

On the first  and last Wednesday of every month there is a free clinic at that Matheson Court House.  The public can come and receive a private, individual consultation with an attorney or law student with specific legal advice on their specific situation.  A person can come back as many times as they need to on the available times.  This is a great opportunity to receive direction and/or feedback specific to your situation.

Volunteer – UVU free legal clinic

I very much enjoyed the opportunity to provide one on one consultation to people for free in a private room.

This free legal clinic is not just for family law.  I was in the company of many attorney’s, paralegals, and other professional such as notaries providing free service on all kinds of cases and issues.  For example, there were attorneys that were skilled in business law, contract law, construction law, tax law, personal injury, criminal law and of course, my favorites, family and elder law.

Volunteering . . .

Like most people, I have experienced many
challenges and rewards in my life. Now I find
myself in a place where I have a set of
professional skills and a personal interest
in helping others. I have committed some of
my time toward making our community a
better place. Here are a few areas where I
am investing my time and energy.
